As an intelligent, objective, and balanced viewer, Todd McCarthy's (who is he, anyways? Never heard of him before) review of Platoon seems grossly incorrect. In fact, his review makes me wonder if he even watched the movie at all. I have to second the previous commenters, @Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabidu and @Quadzilla99.

The film is unintentional comedy,and a great example of why the oscars have no credibility.The film looked like an after school special once full metal jacket was released.
