Like a Quebecois version of KIDS, THE POINT is a French-Canadian drama that follows the lives of a group of inner-city teenagers living in Montreal's Point St. Charles district, one of the city's poorest neighborhoods. Director Joshua Dorsey workshopped the film's script with working-class teens who actually live in the Point, some of whom star in the film as characters based on themselves.
