Writer/director Theresa Connelly gets it right her first time out. She's helped by a good visual sense, a wonderful score, and strong writing that highlights her obvious love for her characters.

Reviews for Polish Wedding
Finally, somebody's given Claire Danes a role in which she appears to be having fun!
Although the film lacks the charm of the ethnic gem Moonstruck, it does justice in its own idiosyncratic way to the unpredictable course of love.
Mixes drama and comedy into an uneasy blend that muddles the honesty of each perspective and leaves behind a messy taste.
A disjointed but funny look at a fictitious, blue collar, Polish American family, Polish Wedding manages to be enjoyable due to its winning cast and charmingly buoyant aura that permeates the film.
A cure for the wedding bell blues infecting a Polish-American family chock full of moonstruck women and Adonis-featured men.
It didn't work for me, I got no warm and fuzzy feeling for this working-class family.
