Attention, RTers: Ask Uwe Boll a Question!
Summary
RT is a website for the people, and as such we are offering the RT community the chance to pose a question to moviedom's most controversial working director: Uwe Boll. We'll be meeting Boll later this week as he embarks on a press tour to promote Postal, his latest videogame-to-screen offering. Back to Article

on May 07 2008 09:04 AM I was wondering if you would consider making a movie of Grand Theft Auto "Vice City". Now that you have worked with Ray Liotta once im sure he would be glad to star in another one of your fine films. I was also wondering if you could adapt an old game from the sega genesis called Herzog Zwei. It was kind of an RTS, but since you create your own original stories I think you could make it work. Keep the dream alive Mr. Boll!! (Reply to this) |

on May 07 2008 09:07 AM "Have you ever thought of doing a smart film that won awards, or at least getting a fresh tomato? That would be an upper-cut on all critics alive (and probably a better hit than literally trying to hit them in a boxing-match...)" People have ask many of the questions I want to ask already. I think I would settle with a plain one. (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 07 2008 09:09 AM In reply to this comment (#1723901) I hope your not serius. Also whoever send that PAC MAN movie with Downey as a drug lord is an ausome idea. My question- Would you really stop making movies if that anti-Boll petition gets a million signatures? or will you instead take your In The Name Of The King prop sword and just battle everyone who signed it? (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 07 2008 09:22 AM Pac Man! Wow! Will the ghosts be the souls of those who were killed due to his drug trade? I'm in. (Reply to this) |

on May 07 2008 09:37 AM Dr. Boll What if C-A-T really spelled 'Dog?' (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 09:46 AM Monsieur Boll, Are all of your movies an homage to Plan 9 From Outer Space? Also, can I get some German tax relief to pay off my credit card debt? (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 10:08 AM Mr. Boll, Do you think they will let you anywhere near the Halo, World of Warcraft, Starcraft, or any franchise that actually matters (if they make that franchise into a movie) set? (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 10:22 AM Dr. Boll, Did you once go by the name James Yukich and make "Double Dragon"? (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 10:49 AM this guy is so rad, for real. he takes junky games and makes them better. I hope he can make an appearance on SNL this year. furthermore, all these complainers most likely didn't see any of his movies. (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 11:27 AM It's official: 'reyes' is Boll, himself, trying to infiltrate this site and create positive buzz. What clued me? The use of the adjective 'rad' and a belief that being on SNL will give him legitimacy. And if I'm wrong, ...reyes, please tell 1987 I'm keeping the boom box and VHS of Superman IV. (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 07 2008 11:48 AM My question- " Why is George Clooney a hack director, have you heard of or seen Confessions of a Dangerous mind (which was ausome) or his oscar nod for best director flick Good Night and Good Luck (which was also great)? I mean I dont get why he picks on Clooney whos a great director, I even thought Leatherheads was pretty good. (Reply to this) |

on May 07 2008 12:28 PM "Unlike those actioners, Postal is an intentional comedy" Ha Ha. But, really, Boll's films somehow transcend bad in the way they aren't funny. . . Boll is magic. Dear Dr. Boll, 1. Have you ever considered becoming an American Citizen? 2. Why are your films in English, and not your native German tongue? 3. What drugs are you taking (taken) and how have they influenced your "vision?" 4. Ever thought of making a high-class porn? -Tom= (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 12:51 PM I forgot, Are you a worse director or a worse person? (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 01:32 PM Dear Mr. Boll, When I think of your films I think of over the top violence, gore, and stupidity. And not even in a clever way (i.e. Shoot em Up, Idiocracy). I see major similarities between your work and that of disgruntled teenagers that perpetrate mass shootings onto their peers (Seung Cho's Richard McBeef). Do you feel that your movies are a safe haven for this type of person? Can you see yourself being one of these individuals? P.S. your movies suck... (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 07 2008 02:24 PM Dear, Boll Why did the chicken cross the road? (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 07 2008 02:27 PM Dear, U.B. How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie role center of tootsie pop? (Reply to this) |
![]() on May 07 2008 02:28 PM Dear Uwey, how do we solve global warming? and how do I protect myself from ManBearPig? (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 03:08 PM ManBearPig is back? . . .Damn, I'll go board up my windows. Mr. Bull, Have you ever considered making a movie about ManBearPig? (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 03:10 PM Mr. Boll, We've all heard your complaints about Michael Bay, Eli Roth etc. Getting off of the subject of who we dislike, who are you favorite directors, actors, or movies? (Reply to this) |
on May 07 2008 03:28 PM Haha, you cant read this thread and not see the beauty of being a smart@ss. Also, Mr Boll: How do you think people will remember you after you die? or are you just so awesome in your mind that you think you will never die? (Reply to this) |
