Movie Info

Nana Patekar stars as Major Chauchan in this intense 1991 action film, which he also directed. Chauchan is a patriot who has devoted much of his life to his country, but when one of his upstanding soldiers is murdered by gangsters and the corrupt local police and officials refuse to take action, he feels he has no choice but to turn vigilante. Dimple Kapadia, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Kapoor, and Amrish Puri round out the powerful, star-studded cast.

The first half of this movie is a military boot camp movie (commando training--but it is the boot camp for commando training, undertaken by a large part of the Indian army).
