Great movie that teaches you about what life was like in the 1700s!

Not very many people know about this film, but I think it's easily a very overlooked movie. The acting in this film is great, the sets are pretty good, the plot of course is classic as it's based on a fantastic book, and the climax is surprisingly exciting and engaging. The film goes into more detail than the book, because they were trying to stretch out the film, but still, it's done in a very well thought out way, that doesn't make it feel like padding. If you have a chance, check this movie out. It's a treasure just waiting to be discovered.
