It lacked the wonder of his previous films, as well as a good narrative. The visuals were well drawn, but were very obvious and on-the-nose, not that imaginative at all. The talking fireball was simply pathetic Myazaki is the greatest animator in the world, I hope his next film will be an improvement (Reply to this) |

He keeps saying he'll stop and retire, but he always comes up with a new idea for another film. I loved Mononoke, for its immersion into the story and background. Spirited Away was a little too non-sensical for me, although very mesmerizing. (Reply to this) |
