I bought the box set of the Popsicles as soon as it was available on dvd. The first one is a classic the next two are watchable and then came number 4!
Unfortunately it's so bad it's not even funny, or is it!! I'm not sure!!
There's hardly any of the 50's classic music that saturates the other three films, and I'm not sure what type of army they join as the sergeant appears to be from india and the captain from the east end of London. (Although this is due mainly to the dubbing).
It's worth buying the box set for a budget price as I did but you'll do well to sit through the 4th part (Private Popsicle).
Possibly the worst film I've ever seen, although Guy Ritchie's Rock n Roller was in the running!
