worst looking aliens ever

...barely rises above the level of most made-for-TV fare and before it's halfway through descends irreversibly into standard horror-movie clichés.

Audience Reviews for Progeny

Ok, Progeny isn't exactly the greatest film ever made. I don't think anyone was ever under that illusion. It isn't bad though! Or at least, it is so bad it's good for the best part. Brian Yuzna is a talented director with a low budget, Progeny has an interesting story but not a particularly original one but it does boast a pretty good cast who all produce good performances. I'm biased really, I love Society and the Re-Animator films and I genuinely think Yuzna is a good director, don't write off Progeny but at the same time certainly don't rush out to buy it because you'll only blame me when you realise it's crap! ;o)

An Alien version of "Rosemary's Baby" directed by B-movie director Brian Yuzna. It wasn't bad, but not great. The acting is pretty good by the cast which includes Arnold Vosloo and Brad Dourif. There's the odd gory moment too. At the end of it all though it's your typical big-eyed cheesy alien abduction movie which was a little too over-dramatic for my liking.

Far fetched and unconvincing story, kind of an alien Rosemary's Baby. The decent budget helps, the acting isn't bad but the story is so lame nothing can save it.
