But after further investigation, Sergio finds that Garet, the son of a wealthy businessman, started the blaze in a fit of jealousy -- he believed that his girlfriend and Sergio were having an affair. Garet's father offers Sergio $25,000 if he will take the blame, and Sergio agrees, hoping that the cash will provide a better life for him and his lover.
