Olga Kurylenko Is Bond 22's Femme Fatale
Well, the Ukraine girls really knock me out / They leave the West behind.
Bond 22 has found its girl. No, seriously -- we mean it this time. No takebacks.
Just days after the announcement of Gemma Arterton's casting stirred rumors that she was the new "Bond girl," Columbia Pictures has issued a statement introducing the world to Daniel Craig's leading lady for Bond 22: Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko, most recently seen in Hitman.
What's that, you say? You haven't seen Hitman? Well, we suppose we could be persuaded to post some pictures. If you really need us to.

Arterton's character, as it turns out, is a co-worker of Bond's, MI6 Agent Fields. The duo joins a cast that includes Craig, Judi Dench, Jeffrey Wright, and Mathieu Amalric. Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli were quoted in Columbia's press release as saying:
"We are fortunate to continue in the Bond tradition of attracting the finest international actors for our starring roles. Mathieu, in the role of Dominic Greene, a leading member of the villainous organization introduced in 'Casino Royale,' will be a powerful counterpart to Daniel's portrayal of Bond. Olga Kurylenko will play the dangerously alluring Camille, who challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of Vesper's betrayal."
"Helps him," indeed.
The still-technically-untitled Bond 22 is targeted for a November 7, 2008 release.

on Jan 08 2008 05:35 AM "Finest International Actors" replaces what the original, unedited PR release said, which was 'Best accented tail we could afford.' (Reply to this) |

on Jan 08 2008 06:32 AM In reply to this comment (#1443018) it's chick, not chic. that's french for snazzy. sorry to nitpick, but I see you do this almost every day. (Reply to this) |

on Jan 08 2008 07:33 AM dahl...i'm american, its CHIC. get over it...and thanks for paying so much attention to my posts, i love you too haha... and no, i can't forgive anybody for Richards. she single handedly ruined that movie and wasted a decent action flick. is Hitman good? i didn't get a chance to see it(i like olyphant though), it was out for like a week and then bam...gone. ![]() on Jan 08 2008 08:02 AM Gimy, Hitman was great for what it was....an ACTION movie. the Plot was ok, but the ACTion was great. head shots and hot metal body piercings tearing through everybody. Nice fight scenes and a good twist at the end with a tad of nudity thrown in for good measure. She is definitly hot and it will be great to see if she can turn James Bond out the way she did Agent 47. (Reply to this) |

on Jan 08 2008 08:22 AM @xeno: the action was stupid, the film tried to be like Bourne in a way, but was just bad, and even worse, there was no big end fight or anything. and it wasnt anything like the game^^ but to topic: i dunno, she's hot, but not that hot, the gals in the last part, now they were awesome. but well lets see, maybe she'll get a better design team in bond (Reply to this) |

on Jan 08 2008 08:39 AM Those look like 2 different girls in those pics. I like the 1st pic better even tho its not as sexy (Reply to this) |
![]() on Jan 08 2008 10:14 AM @Oblivioncry: How was the action stupid? Camera play was well done. Nicely rehearsed fights for non-martial artists and **** being blown up. The action was far better than the shaky-*** camera scenes in bourne supremecy/ultimatium (Both are good stories and well acted movies but the fights where ****). Isn't the whole point that Agent 47 is such a bad *** that no one can stand up to him in an epic final fight. He is an assassin not a samurai. He kills for profit, quickly, efficently and gets away with it, in that capacity the movie fits the game perfectly. Oh and they brought out a Fu@king attack helicpoter on his *** at the end. How is that not big for an ending? (Reply to this) |

on Jan 08 2008 01:13 PM so do you guys really think eva green is hot? i think she tainted Royale for me simply because the ONLY other movie i saw her in was where she had s3x with her brother ALONG with another guy and it looked like her el presidente had never seen a razor. phew, too much bush...she just has scared me ever since (Reply to this) |

on Jan 08 2008 02:19 PM she's hot, so I'm happy =) (Reply to this) |

on Jan 08 2008 03:11 PM you know... if you just leave off "to terms with... vesper's betrayal" i think you've got a pretty darn accurate depiction of the whole "bond girl" thing. and hitman sucked. period. the only scene that somewhat redeemed it was the sword fight on the train or bus or whatever it was... it was finally an admission by the guys that were responsible for that atrocity that it was just a vehicle for some groovy fight sequences. come to think of it, the movie probably would have been pretty good without that "love story"... you know the one where he tasers her while she's giving him a bit of the old in-out... on Jan 08 2008 06:41 PM sorry to nitpick Gimy, but chic is pronounced Sheek and chick is pronounced... well... chick. i'm american too, so I know. I'm not trying to be difficult, just wanted to say the right pronounciation/spelling. but it's a message board, so who the f*¢k cares? (Reply to this) |
![]() on Jan 08 2008 09:03 PM Hitman was awful. People will defend any piece of crap sometimes. I love the defense, "it's an action movie", well first it's a movie and it failed at being a good one and I think failed at even being a good action movie. It wasn't close to being like the games and just came across as ****ty dumbed down version of Bourne. The fight scene in Ultimatum between Bourne and his would be assassin destroys the long knifes? fight scene in Hitman by a mile. (Reply to this) |
![]() on Jan 08 2008 11:42 PM Hitman was everything it promised and nothing more. Tim- Bald, Olga- Nude, Everyone else- Dead. Olga in Bond will be great. Skimpy costumes a must =D (Reply to this) |

Hitman had b33bies in it? ooh, so it was a HARD R rating after all... (Reply to this) |
