One of the few historical facts about her is the trip she took to Jerusalem to visit the legendary King Solomon. Italian director Pietro Francisci (a mentor to Mario Bava) made this costume epic is, a fictionalization of that visit. In it, the Queen of Sheba falls in love with Solomon's son, causing war to erupt between the two powerful nations. [More]
