Cook was given the chance to demonstrate her range as a Montana girl yearning to escape her dull hometown in THE HI-LINE. The austere drama features beautiful vistas filmed on location in Montana, and was directed by two-time Academy Award winning sound designer Ron Judkins. For her performance as an imaginary friend fought over by two escaped mental patients in SALLY, Cook received the best actress award at the New York Independent Film and Video Festival. The two films collected here display Cook's talent as a dramatic actress, which may come as a surprise to viewers only familiar with her mainstream comedic roles. [More]
