Movie Info

Having spent his life dominated by his callous industrialist father (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), Narendra Sahay (Rajiv Kapoor) yearns to escape. He sees his chance in a university expedition to the Himalayas, where he meets, falls in love with and promptly impregnates unpretentious young Ganga (Mandakini). Director Raj Kapoor's love story recounts the aftermath of their forbidden union, when Narendra's disapproving family tears the couple apart.
