Dreary apartment complex? Check. Post-apocalyptic undertones? Check. Wild-eyed, slavering undead with a taste for man meat? Check, check. But somehow it doesn't all come together.

Laughs and exploding heads? Seen it, done it. But a zombie movie with heart? That's novel.
| Original Score: 3/4
For all of its faults (underdeveloped characters and an ending that flirts with the ridiculous) it manages to squeeze more movie into its 64 minutes than many do in 90 or more
Takes the zombie apocalypse and uses it as a backdrop for a story about love, loss, loyalty and betrayal.
| Original Score: 3.5/5
A wicked dose of horror for anyone in the mood for a short but sweet genre entry.
While you certainly get plenty of bang for your buck in the gore department, the thing that most sets this movie apart is that it finds an actual emotional core for the story.

It's worth seeking out.
