Five Favorite Films with Freida Pinto
In just a few short years -- following her luminous debut in Danny Boyle's Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire -- Freida Pinto has gone from a virtual unknown to one of movies' most feted young actresses. This week, Pinto lends her talents to Immortals, visual stylist Tarsem Singh's visually stylish, violent and sometimes quite surreal imagining of ancient Greek mythology in which the actress portrays the oracle (and future lover of Henry Cavill's Theseus) Phaedra. We sat down with Pinto recently where she discussed her admiration for the director, the experience of working on her first big-budget film, and how it affects her performance. She also took a moment to recall her five favorite films.

Five Favourite Films with James Marsters
James Marsters is perhaps best known to audiences as the blonde-haired Sid Vicious-alike Spike on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The vampire who earned his nickname by impaling his victims on railway spikes, he went from Big Bad to Buffy's boyfriend when a shadowy government cell called The Initiative fitted a chip in his brain that prevented him from doing harm. He stars this week in Dragonball: Evolution, based on the Japanese Manga comic, as Lord Piccolo, the megalomaniacal villain out to destroy the world by uniting the seven Dragonballs. Box Office Guru Wrapup: Pottermania Strikes with $330M Global Bow
Hogwarts fans flexed their muscles at the North American box office showing up in droves once again for the extended opening weekend of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" which seized control of the multiplexes with its top spot debut. Most holdovers fared well too as no film in the top ten suffered a decline of more than 50%.

Nine Free Minutes from Pixar's New Flick!
I know, I know. I'm probably missing out on all the fun by refusing to watch this extended clip from Brad Bird's newest Pixar flick, "Ratatouille," but I'm guessing this clip was put up for folks who were unsure if they were gonna see the flick. Me? I wouldn't miss a Pixar movie for a lifetime supply of popcorn.

Brad Bird Reveals New "Ratatouille" Clips; Our Synopsis and Impression
Back in March, Rotten Tomatoes was invited to hang with "Ratatouille" director Brad Bird at Pixar to screen select scenes from the forthcoming summer pic. Our verdict? Either "Ratatouille" is going to be superb or Bird made some astute choices in choosing which clips to show, because what we saw was classic Pixar and their ability to juggle comedy and tense action scenes on full display.

Pixar Preparing for Next Film After "Ratatouille"
Variety reports that Pixar is already laying the groundwork for its follow-up to this June's culinary rat adventure "Ratatouille." Next for the studio is a project entitled "WALL-E," rumored to be about a young robot searching the galaxy for a home. Director Andrew Stanton, who won an Oscar for his work on "Finding Nemo," will take the helm.
