I would say this movie is worth seeing. It reminds me of the type of movie that you could catch on cable any night of the week; not worth paying more than say a dollar for at any rate. Brian Dennehy is pretty good. There are some acting gaffes but the thing comes together OK by the end. It does have some sad parts.

Well meaning but flat telling of Buford Pusser, the hero sheriff that have spawned quite a few movies. The acting is fair, it just isn't very involving. It was made for network television and it shows.
