Critic Review - Washington Post

The African American fliers' great achievement merits a great movie. "Red Tails" isn't it.

Well, they have made SO many others. I call BS. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

Charlie, the movie was pathetic, get off of your knees for George Lucas.

As long as the 1995 HBO film "The Tuskegee Airmen" exists in some form (VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray, BubbleTape, etc.) there is no reason to see this bland, soulless rehash.

This movie had the arming whistle of a 500lb dud...right from the Title.

They tried but the dialogue was corny in the beginning, and they didn't represent any Black women at all. Not a good look. They could have a had a flashback of a mother, sister, or wife but total absence of the Black women wasn't impressed... were were we?
Why does Method Man loose his southern accent halfway through the movie and start sounding like he's from Brooklyn. Script supervisor should have been fired! ehh. I guess it was alright next...

I, like Gordon, feel the movie was very good. I learned and experienced a range of emotions.
