Although the reception is negative but this movie is the best movie of resident evil series.

Ha! Beat Himanshu Pant to it. Screen Gems better start paying me money.

Totally disagree!!! Jovovich kicking and Roberts being Wesker were the only reasons this movie kept going. Bad script, bad story, bad EVERYTHING!! I was mostly disappointed about Barry (in the movie, not the actor, which I think he's great!)
The best one by far is still the original one... unfortunately...

You should add more details.... Why was it awful?

Just obstructive criticism.

the best one in my opinion is Resident Evil: Apocalypse .... that one had the most intense, thrilling, non-stop, jaw dropping action and nemesis as a killing machine was just amazing .... this one is probably my 2nd favorite ... it brought back the nonstop action that the last one completely lacked, but the action here is pretty generic and formulaic ... not much that is really breathtaking but still pretty good nonetheless... hopefully the next installment is the final one and we get to see an all out epic war with the remaining humans vs. the bioweapons and the red queen ... to see wesker and alice really display the extent of their powers and see more of wesker fighting than that little bit we saw in afterlife would be truly rewarding ... and for the love of god can we get one that is a little longer and more epic in scope than a mere 90 minutes? it was first said that this one would be 117 minutes and be the longest in the franchise .. only to see the movie come out and reveal that it (just like almost all of the other entries) also clocks in at just 95 minutes.

I totally disagree with your review on this movie. Yes, the acting is a little cruddy and the story could use work, but that's what you have to expect when seeing a movie like this. It was originally based on a video game, so what are you gonna expect? I went into the movie knowing that it wont grab my attention through the story and characters, but through the amazing visuals it presents via 3D, slow-motion, and epic scenes. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who can except the story for what it is and let yourself enjoy it for its stunning fight and chase sequences that keep you on the edge of your seat, along with the epic movie score. Great movie, seeing it for the third time this weekend!
