You're absolutely right, the Resident Evil franchise has done more than enough damage to video-game to movie adaptations, but the difference between him and Boll is that he makes money (sadly). That's why we don't see Uwe Boll sequels, his movies are flops. They're both equally guilty of raping popular video game franchises and insulting the medium of both film and video games. I oh so wish someone would do justice to a video game adaptation and show that it can be done, until then people like Anderson will continue as they are.
