Actually, if I may present my humble opinion, the video games exhibit a wonderful, complex, and interesting story which has yet to be translated onto the screen. I don't believe it ever will, either. It's sad when a film has a great plot line already laid out for it in some other form of media and chooses to ignore it completely.
Wow, it is sad when movie critics bash video games as it is apparent they never play them. A lot of video games have told some really great and engaging stories, including the Resident Evil series. Play the games before you jump to conclusions, John.
Surely the video game has a great story, largely the first Resident Evil (1996). It was an unfortunate comparison to someone who thinks that games can not have a good storyline when actually some games have storylines as good as movies approved by "critics".
My English is not good, sorry.
The real question is, how does John Wirt have a job? You lack any rationale between the film and the games of the Resident Evil Franchise. They are completely seperately made entities and your obvious lack of knowledge to differentiate between the two show your ignorance. I would one up you on any job interview John Wirt. I sit here completely confident of that. Based on this review and many dimwitted others youve posted, I can safely assume most of the good people commenting know more about the film and game industry than you do. John Wirt, you incompetent fool.
