The problems with Jedi cannot be fixed even with the best digital software in the galaxy: the weak story, the bad performances, the burp jokes, and Luke's bizarre-looking hair mop.
Personally I thought the acting was good in it. This one by far had the most action and it has a good story to it. Also, I like how Luke wears black, because In A New Hope he wears white, which is a more innocent color for a more innocent farm boy, in Empire Strikes Back he wears Grey which is somewhere between innocent and mature, and the black in Jedi is a symbolic way of showing Luke matured from what he was in the previous films. As for the burp jokes, the sarlac pit burping I don't even think was supposed to be a joke. It was by far very different from the other two classic Star Wars, but it was still a good movie, but I agree that storyline wise it isn't as good as The Empire Strikes back, but in other ways its as good as or better.
What the hell is wrong with the story and the acting?? And Jabba the Hutt burping once indicates the movie is full of burp jokes? And you're complaining about how Luke's hair looks? Jesus, if you're going to criticize a movie make some good points...
Oh yeah, Luke's hair mop really killed the whole movie for me...YOU ****IN' QUEER ! Who gives a damn about some other dudes haircut ?!? Are you kidding me ?!?
First of all, I thought this was a very entertaining, well-made movie with a satisfying conclusion. However...
There were a few silly things in the first two movies, but there is so much unexcusable nonsense in this one that I cannot help but feel like the more impressive charecters and elements clash against the Ewoks, Jabba's wacky minions, and other such things.

Agreed. I would this under the 'good but not as amazing as it predecessors' category
