So many people have jumped on the Empire Strikes Back bandwagon... Episode V had the worst pacing, at least regarding action scenes, of all the Star Wars movies.
"the Force--that in encompassing everything may, perhaps, encompass nothing, and conceal another level above, or beneath. I'm guessing that will be the subject of the next trilogy."
nope sorry it's all just bacteria in the bloodstream
From Wookieepedia, the SWWiki: "A misconception exists that rather than being indicators, midi-chlorians actually are the Force or create it; there is no canonical basis for this belief (...) George Lucas, on the other hand, considers the two aspects of the Force separately, treating the midi-chlorians as the practical, biological side, distinct from the spiritual and metaphysical side of the Force"; source: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Midi-chlorian
PS: therefore, it is not a "bacteria", it is the communion of organic life as a total; please don't be stupid.
I disagree with the opinion that Han Solo is not very interesting as a person. If not for him, the movie would lose its humanity and become another self indulgent exercise in cardboard cut-out archetypes. He grounds the movie. After all, what is missing between this classic trilogy and the latter, merely "entertaining" trilogy? Han Solo. I agree that the overall idea of the movies overshadow his character, but he makes the movies fun, and that's why this saga has so many fans. Because it is fun. As an archetype or idea, he is not very interesting when compared with Vader, Yoda, or Kenobi. He is the most interesting person in the movie though and the reason we don't lose sight of the movies overall vision.
David Voss
He gave it a 4/4, not a 3/4.
