The sequel to the Japanese horror sensation RINGU, RINGU 2 picks up right after where the first film left off. While the police and scientists try to explain the mysterious and deadly hauntings of dead Sadako, Mai Takano attempts to find where Reiko Asakawa and her son Yoichi are hiding, as they are the only ones to have survived an encounter with Sadako's vengeful spirit. But things grow more complicated--and ominous--when it appears that Sadako's still stalks the living, and that Yoichi is developing strange psychic powers that may link him to the ghostly girl.
