The only thing surprising about this lackluster animated production is that it attracted an A-list voice cast. But that's how things are today when even mediocre animation can be a big draw.
Mr Berardinelli can say what he wants about story, but when it comes to visuals it's obvious he has no clue what he's talking about.

This is an example of a negative review that I'd rather not read.

I agree with Gustavo -- this sounds more like a subjective rant about an ex-girlfriend than a useful, objective movie review. Does he have a personal issue with the studio and/or company that made the film or something?

Being an animator, I find this review very insulting. Obviously this guy has no clue just how much goes into creating an animated film. What Blue Sky is able to do visually is on par with Pixar and Dreamworks. If you're going to pin the story, that's a different case, but animation on the other hand, you need to be a Milt Kahl if you're going to criticize anybody.

Are you out of your mind? Next time use your brain instead of throwing together a string of consonants that have no meaning or purpose whatsoever. believe me, no one here is impressed.

I don't know why all these people are so irritated with this review. I read the review and I agree note for note (though I may have lowered the score)! I've tried 3 times to see this movie, but I found it so incredibly dull each time that I gave up.
