Rubbish. I was sixteen the year this came out and for better or worse it's the closet cinematic depiction I've seen of the sub culture I was in at the time. It's right up there with Gummo in terms of authenticity.

no, killer clowns from outerspace is silliier than this. Keanu plays the role perfectly of a stupid stoner, he really was just being himself in this movie I think, no acting required
