Max Allan Collins has been signed to write and direct adaptations of the two graphic novel follow-ups to "Road to Perdition," titled "Road to Purgatory" and "Road to Paradise."

While the hiring of Jon Favreau as "Iron Man" director is pretty exciting movie-geek news, it seems that Marvel's Avi Arad has a whole bunch of new projects just waiting to get underway. In addition to the Iron Guy's first adventure, we can now report some progress on titles like "The Ant Man," "Captain America," "Hulk 2," "Nick Fury," and (yes!) "Thor."

Burton & Depp Together Again for "Sweeney"?
Andrew Hartman of MovieMusicals.net looks to have snagged quite the impressive scoop ... provided it turns out to be accurate, of course. Word is that insane filmmaker Tim Burton and ultra-cool actor Johnny Depp will be re-teaming (yes, again) to bring an adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's "Sweeney Todd" to the big screen.

It's Official: Daniel Craig is 007
ComingSoon.net shares with us the long-in-coming announcement, and it's one that shouldn't stun any of the astute movie geeks: British actor Daniel Craig has been signed to play everyone's favorite superspy, James Bond. The next 007 adventure, "Casino Royale," goes before the cameras early next year.
