The directorial choices are, for the most part, so lazy, the blockbuster engineering so blatant, that Robin Hood often falls into self-parody.
Karina, I read your review and I must say that you should never review movies again. You hated the movie months before it was released and to be honest that's not fair to the film or your profession. In your review you summarize the movie and state that "Richard is killed by Godfrey (Mark Strong), an Englishman turned secret operative for the French," and ask rhetorically "Who should stumble upon Richard's corpse but Robin Longstride?" Did you even watch the movie Karina? Neither of those events took place, Richard was killed in battle by an arrow. Godfrey was never on screen or even in the same scene as Richard. Your review, like your summary, was completely off-base, and I hope that in time you, and many other "bandwagon critics," are proven wrong. This was an amazing, though some-what flawed, film. I pity those who can not find entertainment and inspiration in a film like ROBIN HOOD.-Chance "Hurricane" Colbert
