If it's Oscar season, then it's also Razzie season! This year, Golden Raspberry Award Foundation has partnered with Rotten Tomatoes and has made the nominations for this year's Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel open to the public.
I did as well. Lots of bad ones to chose from this year, and that one definitely takes it all for me. It should have remained in permanent release delay.
Actually, that's what I meant. I, too, wish that it had stayed on the shelf, from where it could have "accidentally" fallen into a trashcan.
For one, it would have spared the American public from all the fools who started posting racist drivel on Twitter after watching the movie.
Superman 4, Steel & Catwoman are crap. Batman & Robin, despite sucking balls, looks really good on the screen. But Hulk, are you kidding me? IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
Hey, HOWARD THE DUCK is fucking awesome! Besides, he's not even a superhero...he's a talking duck from outer space, that's all! I don't give a damn if he is (or was) a Marvel property.
Return of swamp thing? 1990's Captain America? Popeye?
... I would've said Flash Gordon, but its my guilty pleasure, plus the Queen song gives it extra points for me.
Agreed, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Not even the hilarity of how bad it was could make it enjoyable. Just a bad movie all around (Except for Michael Sheen, he deserves an Oscar).
Ghost Rider 2 was fun, Resident Evil 5 was epic and totally action packed yet still lacked a solid story, Total Recall....Best movie ever!!! Underworld Awakening is short, sharp and solid and Wrath
It is this guys opinion of course, but unless you can enjoy watching Nicolas Cage act like a moron on screen for 2 hours then yes, GR2 is fun.
As for his Total Recall statement... it's by no means a good movie, more-so just a lot of action sequences, like a chase film with no real directive. Colin did a good job as the new Quaid in the film at least.
I'm so torn between Alex Cross and Total Recall. Alex Cross is probably a worse movie, but I just have such hatred against Total Recall due to the injustice it did to the original Ahnuld version.
Or I could take the easy way out and vote Ghost Rider.
After the first Ghost Riser I was like it can't get any worse; its not actually possible I thought. Oh, I was wrong, I was so wrong indeed. Its literally torture watching that film, you wanna look away but its so bad you keep watching in pure awe.
What disappointed me the most about GR SOV was the devil was such a douche that wanted to take over his son's body as a host. You would think the devil would have more family values and be classy, supporting his child as the new Anti Christ to destroy the world. Instead this wuss gets defeated by his own creation: Ghostie.

Hulk was a victim of poor marketing and false expectations. In actuality, it's a fantastic film, and a surprisingly deep one at that
