Over 55,000 marines and their families congregated at Camp Pendleton's Del Mar Beach on April 1st, 2005, for a patriotic warm-weather bash in the troop's honor. Cedric the Entertainer hosted the festivities, as a bevy of comedians, celebrities, and musicians took the stage to provide hours of laughs and music. Just a few of the those showing their support for the troops were Destiny's Child, Richie Sambora, Ja Rule, Jay Mohr, Hootie and the Blowfish, The San Diego Charger Cheerleaders, and in a grand finale featuring fireworks, rock superstars Kiss.
