Movie Info

This story takes a funny look at a time when Gene Roddenberry was working in Los Angeles in the late 60's as a motorcycle cop, writing part time for TV westerns, and pitching his new series concept, "Star Trek." The story takes place over the period of a week or so as Roddenberry's character encounters several personaltiies, sights and sounds that eventually become part of the orginal "Star Trek" series lore. more

Audience Reviews for Roddenberry on Patrol

A Trekkie version take on the creative idea from ones environment first explored in the very funny "George Lucas In Love" this one focusing on Gene Roddenberry's day as an L.A. cop is also funny, but a bit more nostaligic perhaps and is loaded with Star Trek actors from various series. I found the Russian land lord gag the funniest part of the film.
