Diverting doomsday financial-political thriller.
A talented cast, headed by Jane Fonda, is wasted in Alan Pakula's mediocre political thriller
Pakula's subtle satire was lost on critics
A talented filmmaker made a thriller that was absolutely no better than it had to be, and indeed it is quite thrilling, when it is not forcing us to watch its cardboard characters.
too realistic movie for someone who is not a financial expert, and so hard to follow the line of story. and there is something there: corruption, double-crossing, financial manipulation, illegal percents and dirt of the capitalism. kinda visionary movie watched from 2009. perspective.
