In 1991, the cable television network Nickelodeon changed the face of children's programming with the hugely popular animated series RUGRATS. Created by new parents Gabor Csupo and Arlene Klasky as a warm and funny evocation of childhood, the long-running cartoon followed the colorful adventures of a group of diaper-clad toddlers--plucky Tommy Pickles, his worrywart best friend Chuckie Finster, intrepid twins Phil and Lil, and later characters Dil and Kimi--as they explored the world around them and dodged the troublemaking efforts of Tommy's supremely bratty older sister, Angelica. Though the cartoon ended after an amazing 13-year run, the RUGRATS return with the made-for-video series TALES FROM THE CRIB, which offers full-length movie interpretations of classic fairytales. This volume presents an imaginative retelling of Snow White, with Angelica as the evil queen and the Rugrats gang as the helpful dwarves. [More]
