With bizarre animation that changes and morphs for no reason the film is a love letter from Chris Landreth to Ryan Larkin, a Canadian animator of the 60's and 70's whose greatest accomplishment was being nominated for an Academy Award. Ryan's life has dwindled down to a lonely and inhospitable existence. Chris tries to talk him into getting back on the horse and animate again but Ryan has become so broken down financially and emotionally that he refuses to again enter the craft he loves. Either ironically or appropriately the short was not only nominated for, but won the Oscar in 2004.

Incredible animation about Ryan Larkin, nominated for an Oscar in the 60's, winding up on Skid Row by the 90's. All I can say is ... watch it!
