Another film based off a Sparks novel!

I know I haven't seen the film yet, but I find it tiring that these movies based off Sparks novels are still being made. They are cliched, predictable, and frankly not really good films. Who knows, Safe Haven could be the best film adaptation, but I could care less at this point.

I have to agree this formula is getting tired and if I also hear any more cheesy interview questions like the one in this interview

I think I'm going to actually go to be sick - A plea for some new romance films! That are original and not predictable or feature ghosts

Movie 43 is worth watching compared to any Nicholas Sparks movie.

I'm happy to say that my boyfriend will never have to suffer through any Nicholas Sparks' film adaptations. His writing is so predictable and unrealistic and I honestly cannot understand why anyone would be drawn to a film like this. But I bet he makes a ton of money, which is always nice :)

I can never get past the first ten minutes... always the same stuff over and over...and there's always someone who has an incurable illness, or someone who is grieving for the loss of a friend/parent/relative.

As long as they are making money, mushy girls are obsessing over them, and Sparks can keep finding new ways to write the same story, it will never stop. Same goes for Michael Bay films, but for a different reason.
