Based in a small town in the Northern part of India, Sahib Biwi aur Gangster is a story packed with intrigue betrayal and ambition between a beautiful Begum, her Nawab husband and an ambitious young boy. The Nawab and his Begum, live in their ancestral royal house trying to maintain the status and structure their ancestors had left behind. But due to the changing time, some extreme financial conditions and the long gone habit of a royal having a mistress, the Nawab tries real hard to maintain

For all its high emotion the film feels enervated, like an excuse to shoot attractive people in amorous rapture amid lavish but decaying real estate.

The story is set in a small town in U.P and the series of events that unfold the mystery is quite magical.......The movie is a full of suspenseful and intriguing scenes.The soundtrack is also fresh and performances are fantastic.
Jimmy Shergill was just perfect as Saheb.Mahie Gill is just wonderful as Biwi and given a sterling performance.......And Randeep Hooda given a macho performance as Gangster.Direction is very good and I will say the movie is very different and offer a very very interesting movie watch.....

A mediocre time-pass gangster flick with a love story popped in. Performances are as good as the movie. If you're looking specifically for twists & turns, better skip this one.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (2013):
Again the movie started off well, but soon lost its momentum. Didn't expect so conventional an execution from Dhulia. Worst part was how it ended. Adding Irrfan and Soha to the star cast didn't work wonders either. The ending leaves a scope for third part, but I hope Dhulia won't go for it. As opposed to first part, expectations were a bit high here....... which only led to more disappointment.
