Most of the movie's villains are slack-jawed variations on Beavis and Butt-Head, but Kern's high-pitched dimwit steals the show. As his eyes glaze over, you can see a thought try to cross his face and give up halfway.

Reviews for The Sasquatch Gang
Wacky characters doing silly things for nonsensical reasons seem to have become the standard paradigm for youth-oriented comedies of late.
Full of quotable lines and totally unique characters, Sasquatch Dumpling Gang blends classic elements of fantasy, teen-angst and coming-of-age tales to create a genre all its own.
Napoleon [Dynamite] fans will never admit to it, but Sasquatch is funnier, hinging on a bogus Bigfoot sighting and some hilariously stupid dudes.
There's precious little to laugh at in The Sasquatch Gang, a sad attempt to board the loser-nerd comedy bandwagon.
Skousen as storyteller captures the language, the drag, the excesses and the simultaneously sad and wonderful friendships cementing each group.
[Writer/director Tim] Skousen's low-budget lark is a thing of small virtues.
If you think it's easy to balance silliness and smarts the way Napoleon Dynamite did, see what happens when it's done badly.
Tim Skousen was first assistant director on Napoleon Dynamite, and he does little other than mimic its slightly off-kilter comedic tone and bizarre misfit characters.
The Sasquatch Gang may not fully qualify as an undiscovered gem, but it's got some dynamite all its own.
I'd say it must be seen to be believed, but really you ought to wait for TiVo on this one, so you can just skip to the good parts.
The rather limited outcast-comedy premise is already tapped out. So this painfully unfunny film seems considerably longer than its scant 90-minute running time.
