Critic Review - New York Observer

These are neither good people nor interesting savages, and they're not worth caring about. Neither is the movie.

Wow, never have I had my feelings for a movie more aptly summed up.

The female protagonist wasn't good because she was young and naive and "fell in love" with two guys. Yeah, I want my perfect character so I can have a boring experience at the movies with a perfect person who doesn't make mistakes and one we can aspire to, especially in a movie called "Savages" that's exactly what I'm looking for....If you didn't notice that was all sarcasm. And to say Bernicio Del Toro was not an "interesting savage" makes your review very interesting because of how different it is from reality.

I haven't seen this movie, but your review re-enforces the impression I got from seeing the previews. I might catch on HBO if I happen to see it on one day, but that's it.

i couldn't disagree more. the previews don't represent the contents of the movie..may not be the best movie in the world but the movie was definitely worth the time...saw it twice..and Brad Pitt did a damn good job
