Tobin Bell Previews Saw V Surprises
Summary
Saw IV continues to answer questions about Jigsaw, even though Jigsaw himself is dead. It turns out one movie is not enough to tie up all the remaining loose ends, so actor Tobin Bell is still looking ahead to what Saw V and VI might reveal about Saw staples like Billy the puppet and the tricycle he rides. Eat.Before.We.Eat.You writes: on Nov 30 2007 07:10 AM In reply to this comment (#1318026) Seriously, who is going to watch Saw V? I can see why people would want to watch Saw I-III, because Saw was decent and Saw II was actually pretty good, but after Saw III, who cares? Okay, maybe there were those who thought they'd give it one more chance in Saw IV, but no one should still be interested in seeing more. (Reply to this) |

frothy writes: on Nov 30 2007 08:07 AM The same people who went to see Saw IV, at least on Opening Day. I'll go see it. The thing I've liked about them is that they pay more attention to plot than do typical horror movies; the details they add in, the twists, the characterizations, all enrich the experience more than another exploding head might. The more details you have in a movie, the more things that could be potential plot points later on. (Reply to this) |

For all the people who hate it, there's 10 more who love it. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion and thats fine. For me personally I LOVE SAW and always will!! (Reply to this) |

horrid_haight writes: on Nov 30 2007 06:26 PM They will run this franchise into the ground, as long as there are retards who are scared by overly-creative gore and who overlook dumb plots, and as long as the money rolls in, they will keep making Saw movies. (Reply to this) |

arcadefire325 writes: on Nov 30 2007 07:04 PM if you know it is his son, why do they need an entire movie to explain it. saw is such a stupid concept. trying to rip off of the sympathic serial killer like hannibal lecter and completely fails at it. (Reply to this) |

TDeWolfe writes: on Dec 01 2007 07:46 AM Looking forward to it, the 4th one I thought was an improvement over the 3rd. I don't get why so many people hate on this franchise. The movies aren't perfect, but as far as horror films go, they're creative and have a pretty interesting story to keep the films from just being one torture scene after another. (Reply to this) |

HisNameIsFrank writes: on Dec 01 2007 08:19 AM I think the dummy represents the idiots, such as myself, who keep going to see these movies and actually expecting them to be good. The tricycle represents a vehicle(this franchise)that goes nowhere fast. (Reply to this) |

vcdoni77 writes: on Dec 01 2007 01:03 PM Why is it that there are so many haters? I haven't seen any since Saw 2, but why would I care if other people enjoy them. With the money it makes at the box office, it goes without question that there's an audience for these movies. Let those who enjoy, enjoy and those who hate, watch something else. (Reply to this) |

We already have enough Chucky's, Fred's, Jason's, and Mike's to last a life time. I'm not going to be surprised if Hostel ends up doing the same thing. (Reply to this) |

lyndatu writes: on Dec 02 2007 05:32 AM Billy and his tricycle is truly a great iconic symbol for Jigsaw. First I thought he was made of candy. Then I thought that Billy IS Jigsaw and is a living puppet/doll. He makes Saw more elegant. I do want to hear more about him. Oh, and did Billy appear with his tricycle in Saw IV? I did saw the drawing of the tricycle Strahm handed to Jill, but I didn't see it with Billy.......He was sitting on a chair......more info on V....... I'm going to watch Saw V and there's nothing anyone can do about it! Good luck David Hackl, Tobin Bell and the rest of the crew! (Reply to this) |

If you don't like the movie, then don't watch it. But to insult people for liking a movie shows ur lack of a brain. (Reply to this) |

trooper5 writes: on Dec 03 2007 01:14 PM You people who go on these lists to rip the movies are too much. If you hate them so much, you are either, One: Not seeing the movies, which you wouldn't waste your time on, being you hate them so much. So you don't know what you're talking about & can't really judge them. Or, Two: Still seeing them even though you hate them, which makes you just plain stupid. If you don't know like 'em, don't go to see 'em. Why so much hatred? Lots of people do like them. They are intricately plotted, the death traps are creative & disturbing, and few sequels manage to tie in so well w/ their predecessors. Plus, from a studio standpoint, they don't have big-name stars, and so don't cost too much, and make a lot. So, I look forward to at least a couple more. (Reply to this) |
