Saw VI

Saw VI

Critic Review - Cinematical

...a worthy and faithful entry in a franchise which at this point seems expressly designed to document people dying in increasingly inventive ways.

I must admit, your review is very fair. However, I almost feel like you are near giving this a fresh tomato. I think the nail in the coffin was you admitting you didn't watch all of the other movies leading up to it. Each flashback and even some subtle references pay homage to the previous movies, and it ties them in very well. Honestly, even though you may not like the other sequels not so much, I think you owe your tomato's freshness a favor by watching the other ones and reconsidering changing your overall outlook on the movie.

It just saddens me that this movie may get as low of a ranking as something like Baby Geniuses. Frankly, they aren't on the same level, and they shouldn't be treated as such. This and Saw III were the only two great sequels in the franchise, and they should be acknowledged for that quality given the time they produce these movies.

Yeah, this review is pretty upbeat. I don't understand why so many of these reviews warrant rotten.
