Shockingly sad news for family, friends, and fans, and if you head on over to JoBlo's Movie Emporium, you can find messages from "Saw 2" director Darren Lynn Bousman, as well as several production diaries that Mr. Hoffman wrote only a few months ago.

Natural causes at 42? Seems way too young to be considered natural. Sucks though, best wishes to his family

Sucks, but I find the abrupt change in the films he made slightly funny.

yeah, not good at all, complained of chest pains before hand so looks like a heart attack.... but yes very unfortunate and best wishes to the family.
and really is too bad, he did very well with Saw and Saw II and was looking forward to see what else he might help bring to the horror genre.

first the Halloween director dies, now Gregg Hoffman producer of Saw dies....
tis sad
