Summary

These days, Scott Patterson is known to fans of the CW's Aliens in America as the perpetually befuddled Gary Tolchuck -- but those of you who remember him as Agent Strahm in Saw IV needn't worry: He'll be back for Saw V. Back to Article

I've already figured it out. The true mastermind is...the little girl from the third movie. She conveniently just disappeared.

I've figured out the secret to enjoying the Saw movies- stop watching them after 2.

It worked for me, anyway.

until somebody(wes craven, hello???) makes a better series and dirty sanchez's this series during the Halloween week...this will continue until Saw 50. they can't make sequels if they don't make money. NOTHING ELSE ever comes out thats half decent at that time. the ONLY way this ever stops is if a series(nightmare, hellraiser?) comes along and beats it. problem is...nobody seems to think they can beat this crap franchise, which says ALOT about the horror genre nowadays.

I never understood the hype around the first one. It wasn't all that shocking and a pretty poor horror movie. I found SII and SIII more entertaining. SIV lost me, probably because I don't pay close enough attention to these movies (and it seemed to make a lot of connections to III). There are direct to DVD horror films that are much better than these.

This Series is an amazing series! Listen to me, As long as all of the sequels fit in the story line, i'm fine with it!

Saw V will patch up all of the rest of the questions and the final movie Saw VI will be a grand finale to one of the most disgusting horror franchises of all time

Remember and Compare the first SAW to its sequels...

No comparison!

Saw 2, 3, 4 = Straight-to-DVD garbage...specially 4 (bunch of no-name actors/actresses and a hanging donnie wahlberg).

What made the first Saw memorable was character development, decent acting, tension, great build up, crazy climax, a fresh and twisted "gore factor", characters to care for, a surprising twist at the end...Saw was a classic in its own right.

I don't know about classic, BrotherGrim, but I do have a soft spot for Saw. It was pretty good, in my eyes, for the reasons you mentioned.

Say all you want to about the sequels, though.

IV had good little thrill, but with the story line and all the missing characters, such as the little girl, that they have yet to ever mention from the first trilogy, calls for a big seat back.

Oh yeah, lets not forget final destination 4, is it me or are all these movie's gonna be modern day saga's of Jason, Freddy, and Michael, they all started this crap.

Hey i see all this hate for the saw movies. I guess saw 4 would be all over the place if you have the brain of an infant and couldnt remember anything from the other saw movies. I for one am looking foward to a massively graphic horror movie just like the other saw movies , and for everyone who is trashing on saw maybe you would feel more comfortable watching my little pony. Or maybe barney would fit your taste a little better.

I enjoy the SAW series especially when it comes time for the movie to end.. the endings are always the best.. it leaves you hanging until the next one.. but they shouldn't make soo many sequels though... they should finish it with the next one...

i personally think the first saw was a very good film. suspense, a good storyline and kept us all guessin, i agree that the sequels have been **** but lets be fair apart from the godfather 2 what other movies sequels have been near as good as the first. having said that everything after the 1st one was pretty crappy, but for me the 1st one will go down as a classic

The Saw movies are great, if there are any haters out there, answer me, why did you serched Saw V?

bwk85 : No the litte girl hasent dissapeared, saw 3 and 4 happened at the same time, thats why u dident see her, (apprently shes back in V)

Instead of saying "Oh yeah saw sucks becasue i dont like it", tell us why you don't like it.

Yeah i agree saw 1, was possible the best, but you know what comes close saw 4. Saw4 was very good and extreamly smart, i guess you have 2 watch it a few times to understand what all Jigsaws quotes are like "see no evil, speak no evil" *from the 2 men at the start of saw4 with their eyes and mouth pacthed together.

Some 1 before said that the saw movies have acters no body knows. A lot of GOOD horror movies do this. So yeah image saw *how all the hates would like it*, *Brad Pitt walks in* arr **** my leggg*, **wait was that good i think i need to do my hair a bit more :S**.

Finaly to all the saw haters out there, good on you, we know who you all are, know please stoping wasting your own life by googling saw5 if u hate it and move on.

Thanks

Havent seen Saw V yet, so i will return maybe later this weekend to give my final thought on it and the franchise..I heard theres goin to be a Saw VI? Anyway in my opinion Saw was dope and I think it had a classic feel to it, sorta like the first Scream movie, and danny glover was dope but he passed away to easy..Anyway, Saw, Saw 3 is up there with one, and the 4th was good, had my guessin...I can say the rest, but I do want to see the 5th so i can get a better idea..Anyway be back later...If it doesnt end on V then it would be a sigh of relief if they finished the series with VI..
