Go Back To School With Fast Times At RT High!
With our teen movie feature, we make learning fun!

It's time for a history lesson here at Rotten Tomatoes. But don't worry, you won't be tested on anything. To paraphrase the Ramones' "Rock 'n' Roll High School," we just wanna have some kicks.

As the kids everywhere get ready for a new year of pencils, books, and teachers' dirty looks, we thought it was a good time to explore the pantheon of teen films; hence, our Fast Times at RT High feature. In our Meet the Class section, you'll be able to get acquainted with the archetypes that can be found in just about every teen movie: the surly jock with a sensitive side, the outcast girl who could use a makeover, and the attractive exchange student, just to name a few.

Once you're done meeting your classmates, check out our Honor Roll, where we count down the best-reviewed teen comedies of all time. All the big names are here: We've got plenty of Molly Ringwald, John Cusack, Bill, Ted, Kid, and Play. And there's room for everything from the classics to some recent hits -- in other words, we've got Lloyd Dobler and McLovin.
