Starring Zach Braff (now known also as the award-winning writer-director-star of GARDEN STATE) as J.D., a talented young intern; the lovely Sarah Chalke (TV's ROSEANNE) as Eliott, his on-again, off-again love interest and fellow intern; and Donald Faison (CLUELESS) as J.D.'s wacky best friend "Turk," the show manages to bring a perfect fusion of irreverent humor and earnest warmth to the hospital sitcom format.
