I have been privileged in my life, haqving grown up around Saratoga Race Track, to have seen many magnificent horses, Seattle Slew, Canonero, Alydar, Affirmed, Spectacular Bid and Secretariat (I wasn't alive yet to see Man o war, Seabiscuit or War Admiral run) but in my opinion Disney did a fine portrayal of the routine and workmanship that is horse racing. The movie Seabiscuit pales in comparison to Secretariat, lacking in plot, direction and overall plausibility.
