A desperate young woman enters into a relationship that threatens to destroy any chance she ever had for true happiness in this period drama from Canada. Donalda Laloge's (Karine Vanasse) fiancé Alexis (Roy Dupuis) was away working in a labor camp when her father declared bankruptcy, and her life was changed forever.
