I like French Movies. Most of the Comedies. But this was wow something different. No lol its not a Comedy Duh. Though I m used to see Pierre Richard with Gèrard Depardieu playin those Comedy Movies.
This Movie is very close to psycho-thrillers from Hollywood.

saw this in u.k cinemas this week, a well made french film here, a guy whos a photographer whos going through a divorce and custody battle, gets set up for rape, hes relieved when the charges are dropped, but not when the girl turns up at his door, she drugs him and with another guy produces fake photos, when she leaves, she accidently dies, not his fault, and certainly not the plan of the blackmailer, but the blackmailer uses it to his advantage, the photoghrapher worries but then the body is gone, later that evening the blackmailer makes contact, and is actually a friend from school, he disposes of the body for him, this is a start of a blackmailing scam, but wil the guy fall into the traps, this film is very intelligent, the french are good at this sort of film, the blackmailer is genuinly creepy, and even though events dont go his way, he always changes his plans to suit the situation, even when the police are involved, great tension moments, watching our father deep in it as all this is efecting his cutody battle is great, especially at first when he hasent a clue whats going on, again watch out in future for the inevitable u.s remake, and actrually this was let down slightly by the ending although not giving anything away, it was typically hollywood, but all in all, great mystery moments, violence, and a bit of action, a great watch
