Hollywood's fashionistas came out Tuesday night in full glam force for the New York premiere of Sex and the City: The Movie. See who joined Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda on the red carpet!

It's been four years since audiences last heard from the ladies of Sex and the City, but they'll get their chance to catch up when the female Fab Four hits the big screen in this week's Sex and the City: The Movie. Attending the highly anticipated premiere were stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, plus series familiars Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, Willie Garcon and Jason Lewis.

The event, held at New York City's Radio Music Hall, drew celebrity couture hounds like Fergie, Emmy Rossum, Giuliana DePandi, Ashley Olson, Molly Sims, co-star Jennifer Hudson and Vogue Magazine's Anna Wintour. Designers Badgley Mischka, Nicole Miller, Project Runway's Christian Siriano and SATC's Patricia Field were also in attendance.

As if clicking on a red carpet gallery for Sex and the City weren't warning enough?

I'm about to do *almost* what I complain about other people doing- posting on a thread that I don't care about.

I understand that this is(was) supposedly a good show. I get the attraction to everything female/gay male. I see why this is supposed to be such a big deal.

...can we just get it the F#CK over with, though? Seriously? the ENTIRE Lord of the Rings trilogy didn't get this much pomp and circumstance! This is almost as much over-exposure as Star Wars!

On another note I never understood why anyone ever liked this show.

Although I guess it is just as entertaining to the self centered, overly materialistic female/ gay demographic as say a show like Aqua Teen Hungerforce would be to pot head, retarded high schooler/college student demographic.

Just answered my own question...

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is dadaesque genius. Please dont compare its majesty to Horseface movies.

I am offended sir.
I am neither a pothead or a retarded highschooler/college student.
I found ATHF quite genius and all seven or eight times I've watched it, I thought it was brilliant and funny everytime.
Whos horseface(am pressuming SJP) but they all look a little ***-ish in the pictures.
I guess that would be donkeyface though.

Hey don't get me wrong I hate horseface and all of her self important, pretentious b itch narrating as much as the next guy, I was merely making a comparison.

My main point, everyone likes something that other people don't. Admittedly I am not a huge ATHF fan either (one of my professors loves the show...), so maybe that came off a bit biased, but hey you can like what you like.

Ok my neutrality in the face of Sex and The City made me throw up a little...yea I think I am going buy an SJP magazine cover and take a dump on it.

Well I was trying to be somewhat sarcastic, but it doesn't translate to well on the internet sometimes.
So sorry if it seems like I was on the defense(it is a great freakin show and movie, but I digress) it was supposed to be a funny witty response.

I failed.

But, yeah, I can totally see the point about liking what you like.
I only checked out this thread to see pictures of Kristin Davis, so really, how much room do I have to comment..:)

Ha, totally agree about that sarcasm thing. Honestly I hadn't meant to be downing anyone or anything either it was more toung in cheek than anything.

I laughed, you're ok.

Originally I came to the thread to talk sh it about the movie anyway so I can't say much either.

They like ma!

They really like me!

There really is a lot of reason to talk ****te about the movie.....its Sex and the city.
A completely empty, materialistic, annoyingly boring show(cept for Kristin Davis).
So I can completely agree with your reasons.
