Moving quickly along with the beat of its techno soundtrack, the film follows Holloway as he tries to make a new life for himself. Working the graveyard shift at a seedy Los Angeles gas station provides hours of boredom and a ringside seat to the craziness of Los Angeles as Holloway, a recovered drug addict, tries desperately to survive, with only his pregnant wife Chloe (Rebecca Gayheart) to support him.
