A crazed, vengeful man looks for the gang leader responsible for his son's murder, delving into the Japanese anarchist underworld. There're all sorts of deeper social and political messages pretty blatantly present in this film and I'm sure being Japanese would considerably increase the relevance of these. Fortunately Wakamatsu's visual style is strong in this one and any lack of understanding i had of the film's message was made up for by the sheer beauty of what was on the screen.
